This week, we are sharing some useful social media resources for nonprofits. We can all use a bit of inspiration from time to time, right?
Maybe you looked down as you were finishing your coffee and croissant this morning to check your social media feeds and suddenly it was time for lunch. Wouldn’t you like to spend some of those lost hours soaking in brilliant nuggets from leaders in nonprofit socials?
We recommend following fundraising guru Mallory Erickson on LinkedIn. She also hosts a podcast called What the Fundraising that covers interesting topics on nonprofit leadership and fundraising. You can do something mindless, like take a walk or sort laundry, and get inspired at the same time.
Dana Snyder is a digital marketer for nonprofits and also has a podcast called Missions to Movements where she discusses the latest marketing trends and shares actionable tips.
Speaking of podcasts, you may want to check out Jon McCoy and Becky Endicott and the We Are for Good podcast with topics like fundraising, marketing, leadership, and storytelling.
For a list of other nonprofit influencers you can follow on various social platforms, check out this helpful resource.
Maybe you’re excited about more targeted learning and connection and less social scrolling. For other useful resources, there are some exciting events coming up! Here is a curated list of 2023 nonprofit conferences you can attend in person and/or virtually.
Finally, we wanted to let you know that Linkedin for Nonprofits is hosting an Impact Summit on June 14th. You will hear from nonprofit leaders about “how purpose powers their work and makes progress possible.” Click here to register for free!
We hope these resources will educate and energize you as you continue to make the world a better place.
