Did you know that May is Mental Health Month? Although many observe this tradition – and have done so since 1949 – there is still work to be done to overcome the stigma that goes along with mental health.
Many of Provisio’s clients are doing incredible work in the mental health space. We are honored to partner with health and human services organizations on their technology solutions so they can improve their processes, become more efficient, and serve more people. In the words of Helen Keller, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
NatCon23 and Pacific Clinics
Pacific Clinics is a community-based nonprofit provider of behavioral and mental health services and supports. Provisio had the exciting opportunity to co-present with Pacific Clinics in a “Shark Tank” competition at NatCon 2023, the largest conference in mental health and substance use treatment in the country.
We wanted to share some of the highlights from the Shark Tank presentation titled Partnering to Support Health Equity.
Decreased Staff Time from 80 Hours to 15 Minutes
Through Salesforce solutions, Provisio helped Pacific Clinics integrate siloed data systems to more efficiently serve Medi-Cal members. They decreased non-billable tasks from 80 hours to 15 minutes per month. This enabled them to increase outreach to engage eligible members without increasing staff. Read more about the solution here.
Decreased Dispatch Time from 50-60 Minutes to 15-30 Minutes
Pacific Clinics wanted to streamline their mobile crisis response to decrease response time. Through the use of several Salesforce tools, including Service Cloud, Mulesoft, and Field Service, they were able to switch from pagers to a mobile platform and decrease dispatch time from 50-60 minutes to 15-30 minutes. The person who requests help can track where the response team is on a map so they know exactly when help will arrive. Read about their new Trust program here.
Streamlined Referral Processes and Internal Communications
With the goal of supporting more students and staff, Pacific Clinics wanted to provide mental health services in school buildings to remove access barriers. Provisio helped them streamline their referral process, improving internal communications. Through Salesforce’s Experience Cloud, parents, administrators, and teachers can submit requests for assistance online, get current status information, and communicate securely. Click here for more information on Experience Cloud.
And the Winner Is (Cue Drumroll)
Pacific Clinics (Eleanor Castillo Sumi) and Provisio (Erica Cox)! We are thrilled to announce that our health equity presentation won the Shark Tank competition. Not only did we have the opportunity to share the amazing outcomes Pacific Clinics has seen over the last year since implementing Salesforce, NatCon generously donated a prize of 10,000 dollars to Pacific Clinics.
We would be happy to discuss what goals your health and human services organization can achieve through Salesforce solutions. Click here to get more information!
