One Midwestern state’s public health department was still operating a disease tracking system built in the 1990s. This aging disease tracking software made it difficult to manage investigations, collaborate with federal partners, and respond quickly to emerging public health threats. Recognizing the urgency for modernization, the agency partnered with Provisio and a global systems integrator to reimagine how disease data could be tracked, shared, and analyzed in real time.
