Senior Technical Consultant

The ideal Senior Technical Consultant will be mission-driven, self-reliant and eager to learn. Our consultants are all client-facing and may be involved in all steps in a project’s lifecycle including demonstration, discovery, design, configuration and development, testing, data migration, integration development, and support. The Senior Technical Consultant will lead the technical aspects of projects and must have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-sales Support – preparation for custom client demonstrations
  • Technical Design and Data Modeling
  • Coordination of both internal technical staff and offshore resources
  • Oversight of enhancements to the birdseye Code Base
  • Support of development lifecycle and testing
  • Code audits to ensure compliance with coding best practices and documentation standards
  • Service desk support for tier 3 escalated tickets

Required Experience/Credentials

  • Development of lighting components and visualforce pages, Apex pages
  • Design and architecture of custom solutions on the force.com platform
  • Data migration
  • Systems integrations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security design best practices
  • Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) experience
  • Understanding of the declarative capabilities of the Force.com platform
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Degree in Computer Science related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce Developer 1 certification
