Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant will compile and maintain financial reports and statements in compliance with government regulations and requirements and will manage daily accounting and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. The Junior Accountant will play an integral role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer while working on accounting and finances. The individual will have an interest in growing within an organization while learning all nuances and business aspects of a consultancy firm. Provisio Partners seeks a candidate who strives for accuracy and has 0-2 years of experience managing accounting systems with keen attention to detail. The position requires the candidate to complete a four-year Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. Candidates who do not have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting will not be considered. 


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the maintenance of payroll/payroll processing, financial statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable and preparing financial reports
  • Calculating taxes and preparing tax returns in compliance with payment and reporting regulations
  • Assisting in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation
  • Utilizing database management systems to maintain up-to-date record keeping of financial documents
  • Preparing and updating reports on company finances 
  • Reviewing, editing, and updating financial data and keeping financial databases accurate and accessible to present reports when needed  
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable/payable and accurate and up-to-date invoices 
  • Creating and submitting weekly updates and financial reports and performing reconciliation operations 
  • Organizing balance sheets٫ income statements, and other relevant financial documentation with guidance and adherence to company guidelines


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting  
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to learn and excel using new software systems 
  • Understanding of the principles of accounting according to GAAP and financial reporting systems 
  • Thorough attention to detail and strong ability to maintain accuracy 
  • Analytical thinker with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
