Business Development Representative

Provisio Partners is the largest Salesforce consultancy dedicated to human services organizations. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to help provide human services organizations with exceptional technical and data solutions. 

Provisio Partners is hiring a qualified Business Development Representative responsible for outbound prospecting to develop new client relationships and secure new business opportunities. 

The ideal candidate will be experienced, highly motivated, and able to connect with prospective human services clients to close on offers for Provisio services and solutions. In addition, this individual should excel in a client-facing sales environment and have a strong interest and understanding of the Salesforce nonprofit space. 


  • Execute research across various platforms such as LinkedIn, GuideStar, and ZoomInfo to identify organizations and contacts who align with Provisio Partners’ service areas, target audience, and sales process
  • Work with the Solutions Consultants to create and manage prospect lists
  • Create targeted email and LinkedIn communications for personal outreach and as tools for the Sales team 
  • Daily outbound cold calling and email outreach with new business contacts to generate new opportunities regularly
  • Lead conversations with prospective organizations and contacts that generate new business growth, consistently reaching and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals 
  • Monitor industry news and funding announcements to help identify opportunity drivers and work with Solutions Consultants and Marketing to leverage those opportunities
  • Work with Solutions Consultants to report monthly on pipeline development and present to key stakeholders  
  • Aid Solutions Consultants in gathering research and plan creation for qualified opportunities


  • 2-4 years of experience sourcing, building and maintaining new client pipelines, delivering and building relationships with high-quality human service and nonprofit clients relevant to the Provisio Partners mission 
  • 2-4 years experience in a professional environment paying close attention to detail, managing multiple priorities, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, an ability to communicate effectively on Proviso Partners services with a diverse group of professionals, including industry leaders, sales and delivery teams, nonprofit clients, and high-level executives
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently to achieve set goals
  • Critical thinker with an ability to conduct independent research
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Strong relationship development skills and comfortable with cold calling
