The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for understanding and documenting the needs of the client backwards and forwards in order to effectively communicate the detailed requirements of the client to the Solutions Architect/Technical Lead. The BA needs to dig in and really get to know and fully understand the client’s program and reporting needs. This includes going back to the client for clarity wherever and whenever it is needed. The BA is responsible for understanding and speaking the language of the client and making sure that demos and communications align with that language in order to drive understanding and acceptance. As the liaison with the Technical Team the BA needs to work closely with our developer and technical leads to make sure our solution aligns with the vision of the client. Our BA is responsible for calling timeouts to the PM when upon testing our solution determining is not ready or not sufficient to meet the vision of the client. Lastly, the BA is responsible for communicating and demoing the solution to our client and internal team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Drafting clear and specific user stories, field mockup, and profile requirements
- Completing the Creating a future state workflow for all projects
- Drafting and testing Report and dashboard requirements
- Ensuring that the home page has relevant program information for the client
- Conducting in-depth professional demos based on their user stories to the internal team and client
- Responding to all Development based business process and requirement questions
- Drafting clear, understandable, and detailed Test Scripts that include notes for the user on how to successfully test the solution

- Nonprofit Leadership Experience would be an added advantage
